txt me l8tr!

The way we communicate is rapidly changing, in part, due to technology and you had better keep up. I remember when I was a freshman in high school and texting had just become popular (at least at my little farming community high school). All of a sudden, kids had cell phones and they were becoming extremely creative at hiding them during class so that they could talk to their friends. More often than not, their friend was only on the other side of the room. Eventually a short-hand texting lingo developed. I guess it is just my generation playing into the whole "lazy" bit, but it made texting faster and easier (which helps to avoid getting caught, I guess). Anyways, this new texting code helped us communicate in ways that only we (the hip texters) could understand. Parents could go through your messages and have no idea what was being said. Now all you have to do is transfer the texting code to your diary!
